We are aware of the importance of caring for and preserving the environment, as well as the efficient and responsible management of natural resources. We are constantly seeking alternatives to minimize the impact of our production processes and reduce our energy consumption and waste generation. We also have an environmental policy that commits us to the care and preservation of our surroundings, with the main motivation of sustainable development.

Since 2022 we have an area dedicated to community relations and the development of initiatives related to corporate social responsibility.

Through a vision based on mutual respect, joint work, closeness and humility, we want to continue advancing in the construction of growth opportunities for the communities, without losing the imprint of the natural and rural environment in which we work.

Education

We believe that the best way to support people is through the tools provided by education, which enables both individual development and collective progress.

In this perspective, we want to share with the students of the regions in which we are present, to help them broaden their horizons, find new opportunities, reduce school dropout rates and become a support network that contributes to the promotion of opportunities and reduces social inequality.

Environmental Policy

The fundamental pillars that govern our actions with respect to the environment are:

  • Crop protection
  • Energy efficiency
  • Landscape and nature preservation
  • Efficient use and reduction of the use of natural resources through renewable raw materials and recycled products
  • Water management

Waste management

We have a waste and pollutant management plan that establishes waste management guidelines and control measures at our facilities. We also segregate household waste that can be recycled or reused.

Traceability of all waste, from origin to final disposal, is maintained and updated on the Ministry of the Environment's platform.

Water management

Our water management plan is applied at all levels of the production process. For our crops we use drip irrigation, which allows a better use of water through its application by proximity to the plants through a variable number of emission points.

We also have a telemetric irrigation system, which combines the use of sensors, control devices and remote communication to measure soil moisture, temperature and solar radiation to determine how much water the crop actually needs.
